He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Finnerty and Ioma Finnerty (Huss); his son Steven Charles Finnerty; and his siblings, Harold, Bernard, Michael, William, Joseph, James Finnerty and Irene Loomis (Finnerty).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lindsey Haines, Carrie Benninger (Bill), Lacey Saxton, Melissa Ransom (Brian), Megan Finnerty, Elise Finnerty and Samantha Canfield; and his sister Joyce Salisbury. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene.
