It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Black Sr. (Cadillac, Michigan), who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson W. Black and Elizabeth "Betty" Black (Peterson); his spouse Bertie M. Voorhees; and his children, Lynda and Richard "Rick" Black, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Frank A. Black, Sr. of Cadillac; his daughter-in-law Melissa M. Black of Tustin; his grandchildren, Frank Black, Jr. (Teresa), Trevor Black (Linda), Jason Black (Emilie), Justin Black (Danielle), Jenny Akini (Ken) and Heidi Black; and his brother Art Black (Sharon) of Tustin. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
