He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Woodrow and Arlean Gross (Morgan); his wife Patricia Gross; his son James Wade Gross; and the parents of child, Burt and Arlean Gross.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly D'Lane Torry of Cadillac; his daughter-in-law Julie Gross of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Kourtney Lilly (Bobby Ray Jr.), Megan Skinner (Richard), Wendy Fennema (Jamie) and Jason James Gross; his great grandchildren, Bobby Ray Lilly III, Emmitt Skinner, Delilah Skinner, Aubrey Fennema and Zaylyn Downey; and his siblings, Delores Roger, Timothy Gross, William Gross and Dennis Gross.
