He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Johnson and Hilma Johnson (Peterson); and his siblings, Harold Johnson, Emma Prothero, Bertha Walter and Hilda Enderton.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blaisdell; his sons, Michael of Vail, CO and Terry of Cadillac, MI; his grandson Matthew of Wedowee, AL; his sister Ruth Swanson of Cadillac, MI; and his in-laws, Karen, Glenn Asiala of Lansing, MI, Eva Blaisdell of Oak Harbor, WA and Joyce Johnson of Cadillac, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Veterans Serving Veterans Park.
