She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Tomkins and Beryl May Tomkins (Fitzgerald); her daughter Ronda Swanberg; and her siblings, Don Tompkins, Betty Drake, Alice Hill, Jettrue Hendrickson and Bob Tompkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Somers of Oklahoma and Gordon A. Kirvan of Cadillac; her grandchildren, Jessica Somers and Austin Somers; her great grandchild Elijah Jordan; her brothers, Tommy Tompkins of Texas, Bill Clyde Tompkins of Cadillac, Jim Tompkins (Rose) of Cadillac and Jack Tompkins (Mar) of Cadillac; and her sister-in-law Doris Tompkins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Project Christmas or to the United Methodist Women.
