He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gerald, Beverly Fredell, Rollie and Edna Calkin. He is survived by: his parents, Mark J. Calkin and Kathleen G Calkin (Fredell) of Cadillac; his children, Hunter Calkin and Caci Calkin of Cadillac; his siblings, Mark Calkin, Jr. (Maegan) of Manton and Nicole "Nikki" McCormick (Justin) of Cadillac; his grandfather Richard "Dick" Fisk of Cadillac; his nieces and nephews, Hailey, Ryan, Ruth Calkin, Harlee Jones, Gavin, Isabella and Mya McCormick; and his uncle Fredell. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
