He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Colbert and Mary Colbert (Carnett); and his siblings, Willard Colbert, Raymond Colbert, Helen Flanders and Hazel Kopman.

He is survived by: his wife Era Colbert of Cadillac; his daughters, Kathryn Lueder (Michael) of Cadillac and Wanda Diamond (Philip) of Maple City; his grandchildren, Andrew Lueder (Sushma) of Stilwell, KS, Jacob Lueder (Elizabeth) of Ada and Kyle Lueder (April) of Cadillac; his great grandchildren, Lekan Lueder, Elan Lueder, John Lueder, Cole Lueder, Araya Collins, Emri Lueder and Hayden Lueder; and his sister-in-law Margie Colbert. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
