Nella Bode Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2021, at the age of 90, Nella Bode of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Byron Center, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew VanderLugt and Agnes VanderLugt (DeHaan); her husband Alfred Bode; her son David John Bode; her grandchild Lauren Warner; her siblings, Lenard VanderLugt (Hermina), Anthony VanderLugt, Ida DeJong (Abraham) and Don Sheffield (Arlene); and her mothers-in-law, Henrietta Bode, Alberta Brunink (Lawrence), Esther DeRuiter (Ren), Evelyn Oudman (Jake), Louise Lindemulder (Harm), Nora Mae Kuipers (Pete) and Doris DeBoer.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Iler (Dennis) of Niles, Donald Bode (Sandra) of Cadillac, Karen Petterson (Darryl) of Cadillac, Lavonne Miller (Stan) of Elida, Denise Yonkman (Samuel) of McBain and Duane Bode (Kimberly Jordan) of Cadillac; and her parents-in-law, Marilyn VanderLugt of Cary, Al DeBoer of Lake City and Eleanor Karsten (Kerwin) of McBain.
