He was predeceased by: his parents, Devere A. Denzel and Cynthia M. H. Denzel (Lemon); his wife Judith Fae Whitney; his son-in-law Ron Platz; his brother Carroll Denzel; and his pet Chip.
He is survived by: his daughter Deb Platz of Cadillac; his siblings, Dixie Wells (Don) of Cadillac and Verdon Denzel of Lake City; and his pets, Lacey and Micah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene.
