She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jared and Emma Lee Jared; and her siblings, Billy, Herbert, Jean and Joanne.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Asplund; her daughters, Marla Vance (Toby), Christina Winter (Eric) and Jennifer Whitman (Richard); her grandchildren, Jared, Terresa, Anna, Jenna, Tatyana, Abigale, Kyle, Elijah, Olivia and Jeremiah; and her great grandchild Violetta.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral & Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Edgett's Wesleyan Church (3446 N Raymond Rd, Luther, MI 49656).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International memorial cards.
