She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Smrekar and Mary Smrekar (Zakrajsek); her husband Dean; her sisters, Lorraine, Mary Lou Mattson (Chum) and Patricia Parker (Theron); and her niece Judy Gibbs.
She is survived by: her cousins, Bill and Dutch Smrekar; her brothers-in-law, Chuck and Theron; her nieces and nephews, Theresa Durga (Mattson), Chuck, Doug, Jimmer and Darcy Mattson; her children, Ann Wilkinson (Dan), Steve Witherspoon, Jan Watson (Don) and Sandy Gulick; her grandchildren, Stephanie Scace (Kyle), Aaron Wilkinson, Kelly Witherspoon and Patrick Wilkinson; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Logan Scace; her sisters-in-law, Ella Telgenhoff, Emogene Boerma and Mitzie Witherspoon; and her friends, Max and John Swanberg.
