Lorraine Brooks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Brooks of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard "Bill" and Helena Henwood (Parker); her husband Jim Brooks; and her sister Shirley Smith (Norm). She is survived by: her son Steve Brooks (Elaine) of Cadillac; her grandsons, Mark (Tanya), Chad (Katie) and Scott (Valerie); her son Greg Brooks (Kimberly) of Lake City; her granddaughters, Jessica Klimp (Jason) and Megan Coon (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Ravenne, Zinnia Wedige, Lila Brooks, Adeline, Emilia, Tate Brooks, Porter, Sawyer, Ivy Brooks, Elsie, Decklin, Thatcher, Finnlie, Maudie, Tildie, Kivie and Ottilie Klimp; and her sister Pat Smrekar (Bill) of Cadillac. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID – 19 restrictions a private family service will be held at her final resting place, Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
