He is survived by: his son Steven Platz (Nikki) of Cadillac; and his siblings, Dennis "Denny" Platz of Cadillac, RayAnn Brown of Lucas and Nancy Wetzig (Dave) of Manton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
