It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Allen Mix of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen James and Pauline Mae Mix (Morgan); his granddaughter Nichole Ridgeway; and his siblings, Betty Lou and Shirley.
He is survived by: his former wife Jacqueline R. Knickerbocker; his wife Jackie; his children, Thomas Mix (Vicki) of Cadillac, Douglas Mix of Jackson, Cassandra Lockhart (Aaron) of Elk Rapids and Larry Mix (Natasha) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Joshua Mix (Kari), Courtney Porter (Richard), Joseph Mix (Ashley), Ian Ridgeway and Noah Mix; his great grandchildren, Derek, Alyssa Porter, Harker Mix, Julia and Isabel Mix; and his siblings, James Mix (Betty) of Oxford and Jeanne Vogt (Rich) of Waterford.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
