He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Cooley and Ethelmae Cooley (Disbrow); his wife Linda M. Moomey; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Oudman and Marvin Moomey.
He is survived by: his children, Karrie Cooley of Cadillac and Adam Cooley (Tia) of Beulah; his grandchildren, Tyler Cooley and Allyson Cooley; his close friend Cindy Gunnett of Cadillac; his sisters, Judy Oudman of McBain, Linda Marshall (Jack) of Cadillac, Kathy Payne (Charles) of Cadillac and Karen Cooley of Cadillac; and his parents-in-law, Letha McGraw (Doug) of Cadillac, Roger Moomey (Jan) of Cadillac, Joe Moomey (Carole) of Cadillac, David Moomey of Cadillac, Tom Moomey of Hampton, Darlene, Barkdull, Rose Graves (James) of Appomattox, Rhonda Shaw (Larry) of Gaylord and Charlene Saunders (Gary) of Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters.
