He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nelson and Alice Nelson (Conley); and his brother Mike Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nelson of Cadillac; his children, Alarey Nelson-Jacob (Ed Boell) of Saginaw, Ryan Nelson (Brett Wheeler) of Cadillac, Kristi McFarland (Thomas) of Freeland, Melissa Peek of Saginaw and Julie Izzo (Rick) of Waterford; his grandchildren, Braedyn Boell, Katelynn Jacob, Gunnar Kaiser (Danyelle), Kelsey McFarland, Chloe Peek, Grace McKenzie and Meghan McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Grace and Johnny; his sister Judy Dailey; and his sister-in-law Diane Nelson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
