He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert and Praxedes "Sadie" (Brzezinski); his former wife Lucille "Babe" Bourassa; his sisters, Margaret Allen (Herschel) and Adele Royce (William); and his son Gordon E Joynt.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Keller Joynt; his brothers, Herb Joynt (Judy) and Bob Joynt (Sue); his sons, Jeffrey Joynt (LoRayne Apo) of Saginaw and James Joynt (Laura Letts) of Manton; his daughter-in-law Elaine Photiou Joynt (David Duffy) of Grand Blanc; his grandchildren, Nicole Burton (Michael), Andrew Joynt (Carrie), Jordan Joynt (Mattie), Sadie Joynt, Adele Wait (Darryl), Leah Kolanowski (Ben), Zachary Joynt (Tracie), Kenneth G Joynt and Jeffrey W Joynt; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Jennika, Josie, Eva, Lila and Everleigh; his stepchildren, Corky Potvin (Wilbur), Shelley Wheeler (Mark) and Paul Keller (Julie); his grandchild Russell Keller (Meghan); and his stepchildren, Andrew Keller (MaJoya), Michael Keller (Kayla), Matt Potvin and Julie Potvin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church or the Veterans Endowment Fund through the Cadillac Community Foundation.
