He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Forsgren and Viva Forsgren (Dean); his wife Alieta Yvonne Mitchell; his son David Dean Forsgren; his grandson Kenny; and his siblings, Maxine Forsgren and David "Kurt" Forsgren.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelley A. Penney (Harold) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Jennifer K. Gunnett (Kevin) of Tustin and Matthew Forsgren (Amity) of Cadillac; his great grandchildren, Carlin, Braden, Zack, Leeanna, Hunter and Nolan; and his nieces and nephews, Dwight Forsgren of Cadillac, JoRita Verdi of Cadillac, Vickey Hinman (Brian) of Manton, Amy Haywood (Bruce) of Cadillac and Chelsea Forsgren of Rhode Island.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be conducted a later date with announcement to follow.
Memorial contributions may be directed to any of the following, Northern Light Church of Cadillac, Autumnwood of McBain-the Ivy Lane floor, or Hospice of Michigan in Ken's memory.
