She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Whitney and Mildred Whitney (Laurent); her sisters, Sandra Hagstrom and Jackie; and her son-in-law Ron Platz.
She is survived by: her spouse Melford D. Denzel; her daughter Deb Platz of Cadillac; her sisters, Trudie Schumacher (James), Beverly Lauer (John) and Sheltie; and her pets, Lacey and Micah.
