He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllix Moyer and Ollie Moyer (Iser); and his siblings, Irving, Herb, Gerald "Sonny", Kathleen, Pattie, Merna, Virginia, Phyllix "Dutch", Barb, Lester, Billy and Glen.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Edith Swanson; his daughters, Julie Snider (John) of Cadillac and Kim VanderVlucht (Dewey) of McBain; his grandchildren, Tanya Sanger (Tony), Travis Snider, Amy Moore (Kyle), Josh VanderVlucht (Jessica) and Jake VanderVlucht (Kayle); his great grandchildren, Colton, Brodyn, Attillie, Evellene, Jaelyn, Jaxon, Jillian, Jace and Jayda; and his sisters, Alta, Betty and Mary.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan Cadillac Chapter or The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
