It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Alexander Johnson of Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Andrew and Verna Charlotte Johnson (Hensley) of Cadillac; his wives, Gerry and Dorothy Lively of Grand Ledge; and his sister Jane Ellen Hall (Johnson).
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Johnson (Kathleen) of Canby, OR and William Johnson (Joyce) of Marion, MI; and his close friend Martha Diebold of West Chester, PA. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews; many cousins, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Michigan Technological University - Civil Environmental & Geospatial Engineering, Grand Ledge First Congregational United Church of Christ Endowment Fund, or the charity of one's choice.
