He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Besey and Virginia Besey (Ingersoll). He is survived by: his wife Jean Besey; his children, Tom Besey of Cadillac, Laura Coffel (Guy) of Cadillac and Pam Besey of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Travis Coffel (Megan), Shawn Coffel, Karien Besey, Kristen Besey (Ethan) and Kevin Besey; and his siblings, Alan Besey (Elaine), Kevin Besey (Terry) and Karen Klay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, fellow firefighters and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Jean or to the Haring Township Fire Department.
