It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Nicholas of Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Nicholas and Rose Nicholas (Young); his wife Joan L. Nicholas; his daughter Rebecca Jo Harding-Jones; and his siblings, William Nicholas, Robert Nicholas, Jerry Nicholas and Pat Cobb.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Haines (Bob Greene) of Traverse City, Jimmy Nicholas of Cadillac and Steve Nicholas (Becky) of McBain; his grandchildren, Brandi Reynolds (Josh), Ryan Elenbaas, Chad Martin (Marty), Amy Starkey (Nate), Brian Nicholas, Lacey Dahl (Jason), Casey Nicholas (Katie) and Heidi Hare (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Josie, Kaylen, Sam, Aaron, Cohen, Cooper, Delaney, Delilah, Oliver, Jackson, Ava, Nicholas, Bryson, Brianna, Ethan and Sophie.
