He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Paul and Malverna Marie Scheffler (Wright); and his son Ron Scheffler. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne L. Small; his children, David Scheffler of Cadillac and Molly Mason (Mike) of Ohio; his stepchildren, Matt Burianek of Cadillac, April Bauer (Kevin) of Gladwin, Kevin Burianek (Patty) of North Carolina and Jason Burianek (Beth) of Whitmore Lake; and his siblings, Fred Scheffler of Brighton, Paula Deaton of Howell and Terry Scheffler of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren: six step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
