He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Jay and Mabel Feighner (Jackson); his wife Mildred Ferens; his sisters, Genevieve Thompson, Pauline Crispell and Elnora Jones; and his sons-in-law, Richard Rolph and Thomas Hunt.

He is survived by: his children, Martha Hunt of Shawnee, Sue Knaggs (Tim) of Cadillac, Barbara Rolph of Cadillac and Tom Feighner (April) of Cadillac. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
