It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gardner Vanderstow (Cadillac, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Vanderstow and Bregje Vanderstow (DeBree); his siblings, Harry Vanderstow and Marilyn; his brother-in-law Rollin Kellogg; and his son-in-law Vaughn Dontje.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Annette Viges; his children, Denise Huxtable (Thomas), Martha Wolf (Neil), Janet Harford (Mike), Howard Vanderstow (Lori) and Karl Vanderstow (Jodie); his brother Robert Vanderstow (Maxine); and his sister-in-law Paula Vanderstow. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Lake City or your local Hospice.
