It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene George Plane of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Meiklejohn; his grandson Leonard Kuchinski; and his siblings, Shirley Chadick and Theodore Plane (Barbaranne). He is survived by: his daughters, Barbaranne Kuchinski of Cadillac and Meribeth Mattson (Chad) of Marion; his grandchildren, Kimberly Garrow (Allen), Bonnie Knopf (Craig), Jill Zill (Lynn), Maria Ramirez (Mario), Jacob Mattson (Nicole) and Sabastian Mattson; his nieces, Janice Price and Debbie Dunkle; and his brother-in-law Al Chadick. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
