Esther Boughner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Boughner of Cadillac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther Boughner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Thompson and Lucile Thompson (Darling); her husband Homer Boughner; and her sisters, Jean and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Boughner (Toni) of Cadillac, MI, Steven Boughner, Joel Boughner (Cheryl) of Allen Park, MI and Jane Wightman (Mark) of Hancock, MI; her grandchildren, Mark Boughner, Matthew Boughner, Bradley Boughner (Marcy), Bethany Dontje (Ben), Scott Boughner, Aaron Boughner, Sarah Wightman (Shelby Fowler) and Paul Wightman (Cara); and her great grandchildren, Ana, Diego Boughner, Eleanor, Genevieve, Holland Dontje, Lucile Fowler, Adalyn and Ayla Wightman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Cadillac (221 E Harris St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Esther requested that memorial gifts be directed to Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity - https://cadillacareahabitat.org, Cadillac-Wexford Public Library, The Salvation Army or a charity of one's choice.
