With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Welch (Cadillac, Michigan), born in Davison, Michigan, who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Backus and Hazel Backus (Eggbert); and her siblings, Janice Cartier, Rosalie Richer, Virginia Zulke, Tressie Backus, Clifton, Clyde and Wilbur Backus.
She is survived by: her husband James Albert Welch; her daughter Mabel Gregory (Mike) of Cadillac; and her sister Myrtle Snow. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
