He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Welch; his sons, Duane Alworden (Monica) of Cadillac and Michael Alworden (Bessie) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Kayla Ball, Trevor Alworden (Erika), Megan Alworden and Audrianna Hankins; his great grandchildren, Bentley Alworden and Riley Prince; and his siblings, Cliff Alworden (Virginia) of Cadillac, Vernon Alworden (Mignon) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Velda Baldwin of Jennings and Donna Sherwood (Steve) of Merritt.
