He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Lakin and Ruth Lakin; his wife Pat; his daughter Candy Lakin; his daughter-in-law Barbara Lewis-Lakin; and also, Bill Lakin, Jean Lakin, Cindy Morley, Mark Morley, Shawn Lewis-Lakin, John Smith, Kim Clark and Jennifer Clark. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
