He is survived by: his wife Marie Elizabeth Sollie; his children, Robert Rennie (Brenda) of Wilmot, Eric Rennie (Sylvia) of Petoskey, Suzanne Simcock (Jack) of Cadillac and Sally Holmgren (Chris) of Middleville; his grandchildren, Matthew Rennie, Mitch Rennie (Siri), Elizabeth Gardner (Ryan), Rachel Felsk (Scott), Alison Shultz (Tyler), Emma Simcock, Katie Boyce (Chris), Eric Holmgren, Jordan Holmgren, Josh Holmgren, Sam Holmgren, Anna Bailey (Ian) and Elena DeBoer (Luke); and his brother Bill Rennie of Traverse City. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
