Dennis C. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis C. Smith of Cadillac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Dennis' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dennis has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. and Mary J. Smith (Miley). He is survived by: his spouse Jean A. Carter; his children, Michael Smith (Kimberly) of Cadillac, Sandra Ferguson (David) of Flagstaff and Mark Smith (Jen Good) of Mountville, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Hannah Florian (Alex), Rebekah Smith and Samuel Ferguson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Haiti Clean Water or to Samaritans Purse.
