He was predeceased by: his parents, David James and Philomena K. Kennard (Johnston). He is survived by: his wife Ann E. Cadieux; his children, John Kennard (Joie) of Boon, Paul Kennard of Cadillac, Joanne Kennard of Cadillac, Dave Kennard (Jan) of Cadillac and Chuck Kennard (JoLeean) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Kenda, Craig, Erin, Holly, Nick, Elizabeth and Luke; his great grandchild Mason; and his brother Jim Kennard (Pat) of Hillman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Ann Catholic Church.
