Darrel Eugene Barnes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrel Eugene Barnes of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Manton, Michigan, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Eugene and Emma Velma Barnes (Longstreet); his wife Gertrude Barnes (Panzl); his siblings, Ray Barnes, Harold, Lawrence, Percy Barnes, Norma Lickley, Irma Warden, Lois Jean Goodwin and Bertha Vincent; and his daughters, Nancy Seberry and Vickie Drum.
He is survived by: his son Michael Barnes (Doreen) of Cadillac; his stepchildren, Barb Rohen (Norm) of Coopersville, Louise Barnes of Grand Rapids, Larry Barnes (Jeanne) of Wayland, Jim Barnes (Kathy) of Six Lakes, Beverly Reimer (Tom) of Muskegon and Cathy Ryan (Dave) of California; and his grandchildren, Geoffrey Carlson (Amy), Jennifer Gleason, Alicia Drum, Elizabeth Spoor (Curtis) and Veronica Barron (Jonathan). He is also survived by several step grandchildren; great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ravenna United Methodist Church or Hospice of Michigan.
