He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Hope Snyder and Brian Jon Snyder; his former wife Mare; his grandchildren, Zachary Snyder (Chelsea), Austin Snyder, Larry Sawyer III, Mary Sawyer and Elisabeth Sawyer (Liz); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Theo and Charlotte; and his siblings, Judy DeYoung, Boyd Synder and Garth Snyder.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
