He was predeceased by: his parent Hilja M. Anderson; his children, Kris, Bernard II, Kimberly, Charles, Kelly and Tracey; and his grandson Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Vlasta Bovee of Cadillac; and his parents-in-law, Grant Schlotman (Lynn) of Nebraska, Iris Schlotman of Colorado and Janelle Kopp (Phil) of Colorado. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be given to the Harrietta United Methodist Church or the Nature Conservancy.
