She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Sluiter and Florence Sluiter; her husband Bobby Ray Small; and her siblings, Phyllis Greeley (Lyndon), John (Barbara) and Dean Sluiter (Lori).

She is survived by: her children, Judith Small Bender Lau (Jark) of Marietta, GA and Kevin Small (Barbara) of Kentwood, MI; her grandchildren, Karen Bender Drexler (Donald), Brian Bender, Danielle Small Ryder (Ethan) and Katie Small Barton (Sean); her great grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Joseph Drexler and Charlie Ryder; her brothers, Martin (late Naomi) and Wayne Sluiter (late Mary); her brother-in-law Donald Small (late Helga); and her sisters, Carol Rolf (late John) and Sandra Cole (late Gordon).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Munson Health Care Hospice.
