With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alida Hengeveld Bevans (Cadillac, Michigan), born in Hart, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hengeveld and Mattie Hengeveld (Glover); her husband Donald N. Bevans of Manistee; and her sister Helen Bahr. She is survived by: her children, John Bevans (Lisa Pond) of Grand Rapids, Mary Bevans Gillett (Ward), Barbara Bevans-Payne (Tim) of Traverse City and Ann Mettetal (Francois) of Howell; her grandchildren, Katie Gillett (Jordan Ortiz), Alexandra Gillett (Chris Baron), Jennifer Burnham (Harrison), Chris Bevans, Francesca Mettetal and Eric Mettetal; and her great grandchildren, Winifred and Maeve Ortiz.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, the Stehouwer Free Clinic or a charity of one's choice.
