In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward G. Galbraith; her children, Cyndi Vanwoert (John), Denise Ritter (Larry), Karen Adams and Edward (Michelle); her parents, Dorthy Jakubowski and Don Jakubowski; and her brother Robert Pijanowski. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and one Great, Great, Grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Home (501 N Saginaw St, Durand, MI 48429).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that any donations will be graciously given to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Shirley's life.
