He was predeceased by: his father Dale Chadwell; his son Dylan Richard Chadwell; his brother William "Buzz" Chadwell; and his brother-in-law Jack Rathbun. He is survived by: his mother Betty Chadwell (Cook); his wife Lindy Dohr-Chadwell; his daughter Rachel Fedewa (William); his stepchildren, Dakota Dohr and Shianne Dohr; his grandson Jace Dylan Fedewa; his siblings, Mary Rathbun, John Chadwell (Teresa) and Patrick Chadwell (Vicky); and his pet Roxy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473).
