It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Everette McRae of Byron, Michigan, born in Walled Lake, Michigan, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Francis McRae; his wife Sharon Smith; and his brother-in-law Tom Steere. He is survived by: his mother Bernice McRae (Fisher); his children, Beth Butcher (Ben), Mike McRae, Benjamin and Faith Butcher (Mike); and his siblings, Mark McRae, Pam Steere and Matt McRae (Shari). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
