She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred "Bud" and Edna Dilts (Passow); her son James Michael Spees; and her siblings, Wesley, Dale, Floyd, Richard, Ronald Dilts and Joan Stenzel (Arnold).
She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Spees; her children, Ronald Spees Jr. (Lisa), Thomas Spees (Morgan), Debra Polley (Jeff) and Patricia Lynn Spees; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy, Agnes and Carolyn. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
