She was predeceased by: her brother Albert; and her sister-in-law Marge Niewyk. She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Ellen Dykstra (Stuart), Frances Vugteveen (Robert) and Mark Schermers (Lori); her grandchildren, Ben (Juliana), Sarah (Nabil), Andrew, Rebecca, Heather (Brandon), Sam, Stephanie (Chris), Taylor and Kadin; her great grandchildren, Louisa and August; and her siblings, Henny Zondervan (Ted), Anne Penning (Butch) and Tony Niewyk (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
