It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sue VanderKam of Byron Center, Michigan, who passed away, on October 4, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel VanderVliet and Florence VanderVliet; her brothers-in-law, Wes Douma and Jerry VanderKam; and also, Ed and Johanna VanderKam.

She is survived by: her husband Gord; her children, Douglas VanderKam, Dawn Brock (Mike), Diane VanderKam (Sally Strating) and Donna Lindhout (Rob); her grandchildren, Ashley Sorenson (Mike), Stephie Lindhout, Gordon Mai, Sam Brock and James Brock; her siblings, Mary Douma, Karen Bronsink (Leon), Norma Glass (Howard) and Don VanderVliet (Donna); and her siblings-in-law, Claire VanderKam (Kathy), Bob VanderKam (Ruth) and Glenda VanderKam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Contributions in memory of Sue may be made to the Staff at Commonwealth Senior Living in Cutlerville or Faith Hospice.
