She was predeceased by: her husband Simon "Si" Koster Jr.; her parents, Gerrit Kooienga and Johanna Kooienga; her son-in-law Mike Geelhoed; and her siblings, Andy, Hank, Arnold, Elmer, Floyd, Jim, Ardean, Marilyn and Pauline (Pearl).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Geelhoed, Bethann Broersma (Steve), Vicky Avink (Steve), Sandy Jongekrijg (Dave) and Rod Koster (Jamie); and her siblings, John, Wayne, Gerald, Lloyd, Gerrita, Elma, Lorraine, Twilla, Joan and Lois Jean. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Marian will be laid to rest at Floral View Memorial Gardens next to Simon Jr. In memory of Marian and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods.
