We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2025, Jessie Doren of Byron Center, Michigan, born in Quitman, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lubie Holliman and Jennie Holliman; and her siblings, Lubie Lee Holliman, Genevieve Massey, Robert Holliman, Mary Holliman, Leon Holliman and Donald Holliman.
She is survived by: her husband Willard; her children, Michael Baar, Tami Hartley (Dan) and Jodi Andrews (Brian); her stepson Doug Baar; her grandchildren, Nicholas Baar, Alex Hartley, Nicolette Martinez (Jorge), Jessica Tiesma (Michael), Calvin Hartley, Brianna Sanchez (Manuel), Ashley Hartley, Daniel Baar and Torie Baar; her sisters, Sue Pendergrass and Norma Spears-Severns; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Neal (Jim) and Steve Doren (Patty). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (1412 44th St SE, Kentwood, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
