He was predeceased by: his father Lambert VanderKooi; and his mother-in-law Frances Kros. He is survived by: his mother Agatha VanderKooi; his wife Kori VanderKooi (Kros); his children, Rebecca VanderKooi, Micah, Natalie (Martinson), Caleb, Anna (Orr) and Joseph VanderKooi; his siblings, Ray, Shari (Tjoelker), Joel, Jackie (VanderLaan), Beth (VanderKooi) and Greg Rozeveld; his father-in-law Rich Kros; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy (Kros), Kevin Daane, Karen Kros, Kim (Kros), Tom Cope, Tim and Diane (Wiers). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
