He was predeceased by: his brother Clare Harkema; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Bremer, Barb Harkema, Henry Bultsma, Dave Westra, Julie Bultsma, Dick Locke, Peter Bultsma and Dewey.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Chris Harkema (Sarah Niemann); his grandsons, Sam and Arie; his siblings, Joanne (Stan DeHaan), Tena Bremer, Cecil (Shari Harkema), Ray (Jayn Harkema), Leo (Mary Harkema) and Ben (Leanne Harkema); and his sisters-in-law, Marcia Harkema, Sharon Bultsma, Ruth, Judy Westra, Lisa Barquist, Karen Bultsma and Carole Bultsma.
Memorial contributions in honor of Dick may be made to the Heritage CRC Mission Fund.
