William Loyd Amis Jr. Obituary

AMIS, William Loyd, Jr. "Bill" - age 53, of Burton, passed away, Monday, May 29, 2023. Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Donald Sparks officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Tuesday; and 12 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions in Bill's memory would be appreciated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

William was born December 1, 1969 in Rochester, the son of William L. and Patricia F. (Banks) Amis. Bill attended Holly High School and graduated from Duck Lake Adult Ed. He was the owner of Amis Mechanical an HVAC company. He was a member of South Flint Seventh-day Adventist Church where he recently was appointed as a Deacon. Bill loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them to play the guitar. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Bill is survived by: his children, Samantha Reoch, Richard Amis, and William (Amanda) Amis III; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Lillien, Colton, Elizabeth, Maxwell, and William IV; his mother, Patricia F. Amis; siblings, Janetta, Jennifer, Melissa, Gerri, Michael, Bennie, and Ronald; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
